Access - transportation
- The bus from Quito typically takes between 6 to 7 hours. There are 2 bus options: Private bus for foreigners ($20 per way) or the regular public bus (approx. $10), both leave around 11:00pm the day before the trip starts, and return on the final afternoon of the trip arriving back to Quito around 9pm.
